As head of the energy operations in Sydney since 1999, Riccardo Bernabei continues to build on Prebon Energy's number one position in the Australian electricity market.

Ric joined Prebon Yamane in Sydney in 1982 as a currency forwards and dollar deposits broker. He was quickly promoted to head of the Australian Dollar spot desk and between 1983-88 worked closely with Prebon's other currency operations in Singapore, Hong Kong, London and Kuala Lumpur. In 1988 he was promoted to VP of the Australian Dollar desk and moved to New York. In 1991 he assumed responsibility for Prebon's global AUD operations, regarded as the leader in its class. In 1999, he relocated to Prebon Energy in Sydney to manage Prebon's Australian electricity business.
