Energy clients worldwide know us for the excellent price liquidity delivered by our oil broking teams. We typically see contract sizes that vary between 5,000 tonnes/month and 100,000 tonnes/month, but have executed trades for as much as 240,000 tonnes/month over a two-year period. Trades vary in length between one month and five years.

Our strong understanding of exotic oil derivatives allows us to help tailor financial solutions that cut costs or meet risk management needs. We assist in managing the implicit oil exposures embedded in supply contracts by brokering a variety of exotic oil derivatives. For example, we can provide products that offer an enhanced yield on a cash investment relative to changes in fuel oil price movements. Should fuel oil prices soar and threaten a distributor's income flow, the shortfall can be made up by the cash investment.
